For SBCC Promise Students

Santa Barbara City College students that are signed up for the SBCC PROMISE, a project of the SBCC Foundation that are eligible and in good standing may qualify for a FREE Basic Life Support CPR class.

You must be Signed Up, in good standing and be Eligible for the SBCC Promise . 

Please complete the form below to find out if your Basic Life Support class and textbook will be paid for by the SBCC Promise. After we receive your information we will:

1. Make a request for your payment approval to SBCC Promise.
2. Let you know if your class and textbook are being paid for or not by the SBBC promise.
3. If approved, we will send you notice of approval and ask you to commit to a training date.

Approvals are taking longer than expected.  If you need to get into a BLS class Right Away - Please ENROLL HERE and if you are approved - we will REFUND your payment upon SBCC approval.

If your request is approved, SBCC Foundation will provide payment directly to Safety Matters.

Approvals can only be done Monday- Friday 8 am to 5 pm.  If your request is made outside of these hours, we will respond as soon as the SBCC Promise is open again.

Cancellations or No Show students: You may reschedule your class date without penalty 2 business days before the date of your class.  No shows or cancellations less than 2 business days prior to course date will not be allowed to reschedule and will need to register and pay for another class on your own.
