Heartsaver® Pediatric First Aid CPR AED Adult, Child and Infant Combination Course

This Course complies with CA EMSA for Licensed Child Care Providers.

This course is designed to meet the regulatory requirements for child care workers in all 50 U.S. states. It teaches child care providers and others to respond to illnesses and injuries in a child or infant in the first few minutes until professional help arrives.

All sessions of this course are in the CLASSROOM. Certification cards are issued at the end of the class and are valid for 2 years.

This course is designed for the lay responder in the workplace and community. This course is approved for CA Child Providers by EMSA.

Adult, Child & Infant CPR/AED Relief of Choking Adult, Child & Infant Written test First Aid is a classroom, video-based, instructor-led course that teaches students critical skills needed to respond to and manage a first aid event in the first few minutes until emergency medical services (EMS) arrives.

All sessions of this course are in the CLASSROOM: the course fee is $112.19 and includes the Student Textbook

Preventative Health & Safety in the Child Care Setting 8 hours Provided Through

A Plus Safety, LLC, an EMSA approved Training Provider- The Course Completion card is issued by A Plus Safety, LLC

This course is for licensed child care providers and is EMSA approved through A Plus Safety, LLC.  This class is currently undergoing renewal at the State level.  Classes will resume once the state renewal process is complete.

Overview of Preventative Health & Safety training includes information about infectious diseases (including immunizations), preventing childhood injuries, caring for children with special needs, identification and reporting of child abuse, and child nutrition

  • Preventing the spread of infectious disease
  • Understand what germs are and where they are found
  • What you can do to keep yourself and the children in your care healthy
  • Setting policies and procedures for the child care setting
  • What disease and injury prevention practices you should follow
  • What disease and injury prevention practices you should require the parents to follow
  • Recognize common childhood illnesses and what you can do when they occur
  • Hiring assistants

All sessions of this course are in the CLASSROOM: the course fee is $95.00 - Required Text book is $16.11
